As per tradition, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the HIPA National Investment Agency annually recognize investors and companies that achieve outstanding performance in Hungary. This year, awards were presented in seven categories to organizations whose dedicated efforts significantly contribute to the growth of the Hungarian economy. The "Supplier of the Year" award was granted to VIDEOTON HOLDING ZRt., making it one of only two Hungarian-owned companies to receive recognition.

The prestigious award was ceremoniously received on February 26, 2025, at the gala event held at the Museum of Fine Arts by CEOs Péter Lakatos and Ottó Sinkó. They emphasized that the award highlights the importance of recognizing, supporting, and developing domestic supplier capabilities—an increasingly crucial factor in today's global political landscape.
