János Koppányi

Biography

He was born in 1955 at Budapest.
After a short time spent elsewhere he started as a tool designer at the predecessor of VENTIFILT ZRt. (The VENTIFILT ZRt. has been the member of VIDEOTON group since 2010)
From 1985 he had different technical positions (head of designing/manufacturing tools department, deputy head of technical department then head of technical department).
Because of his interest in engineering/technics and travelling he decided to learn English language. Thanks to this, from 1999 he was able to assist in establishing the export activity of the firm in English language area besides his technical chief positions.
In the meantime besides his job he had been continuously studying and received degrees as Engineering Manager, International Welding Technologist and International Welding Engineer.
From 2006 to 2012 he was the manufacturing/technical and export director, from 2012 he works as the managing director.
During his more than 40 years at VENTIFILT ZRt numerous innovations and technological developments can be ascribed to him.
He is very active in his spare time as well: he likes reading, travelling, biking and playing tennis. He also likes spending lots of time with his family.
