With more than 50 years of manufacturing history, VIDEOTON Bulgaria has developed into a significant production hub within VIDEOTON Group's international network. Located in Stara Zagora, the operation serves more than 20 customers across industrial, household appliance, residential and other markets, combining large-scale manufacturing infrastructure with a diverse range of production technologies.

Electronics manufacturing is a key competence of VIDEOTON Bulgaria, covering SMT and THT assembly, wave and selective soldering, protective coating, potting and comprehensive testing. Advanced inspection technologies, including SPI, 3D AOI and X-ray, are complemented by in-circuit and functional testing and full production traceability.

The product portfolio includes more than 100 different PCBA types, ranging from industrial electronics and household applications to smart gas meters, industrial controllers and automotive lighting modules.

The site's electronics manufacturing capabilities are also being strengthened through a €7.5 million investment programme, including the modernization of a 10,000 m² manufacturing facility and the acquisition of high-tech production equipment.

VIDEOTON Bulgaria's strength extends beyond electronics. Its operations also include electromechanical assembly, from electrical devices and battery packs to mechanical subassemblies, as well as thermoplastic and thermoset moulding supported by in-house tooling capabilities.

This combination makes the Bulgarian operation particularly well suited to medium- and high-volume manufacturing, complex and labour-intensive assembly projects, and products requiring a combination of electronics, plastics and mechanical assembly. Engineering, new product introduction (NPI), supply chain management and industrialization services provide further support for contract manufacturing projects.
